Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble live at Montreux Jazz Fest Switzerland 1982. Incendiary!
I first heard this live “Texas Flood” on the album “Blues Explosion” put out by Swissair. I was sitting with a good friend in a small terrace, Prahran Victoria (Australia). It was 1985 I recall. My good friend Oguz (Turkish) had just got a new pair of Klipsch La Scala’s and we sat back and listened to this performance. It blow my head off. The band, the guitar, the pace of the thing. It still sends goose bumps down my arms, and I’ve been hooked on this cut by SRV, and of course the Klipsch Heritage loudspeakers ever since ( in fact I’ve now collected the heritage Klipsch set over the years – La Scala, Belle and the legendary Klipsch Horns )
