RIP to the masterful Kelly Joe Phelps, passed 31 May 2022 age 62 years. In honour I am releasing this interview recorded with Kelly Joe nearly ten years ago.
I recorded this interview at the Caravan Music Club in Melbourne Australia in early November 2012. Soon after Kelly Joe developed a problem with the ulnar nerve in his hand and decided to rest from performing or recording. An in-depth look at his influences, writing, poetry and spirituality.
